- (January 11, 2010) The CA Baton Council is now accepting PayPal with on-line entries to hopefully simplify the entry form process as well as help minimize late entries. As we are trying this process for the first time, and figuring out what works best, we wanted to make a clarification: When you submit payment through PayPal MAKE SURE TO SELECT PURCHASE, not personal!!!!! If you use the “personal” option to send money, you will be charged a fee for submitting your entry. If you choose “purchase” you will not be charged any additional fees. We have created a $4 PayPal surcharge on ALL on-line entries to cover the additional fees/time that the CA Baton Council will incur by accepting PayPal.
